SEPV at a Meeting with the Deputy Marshal of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, Jarosław Maciejewski

On December 6, SEPV representatives participated in an important meeting focused on the development of renewable energy and energy communities. The event was initiated by the Deputy Marshal of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, Jarosław Maciejewski, who was also represented by Tomasz Małyszka, Director of the Infrastructure Department.

The meeting gathered individuals actively involved in the advancement of the renewable energy sector in the region. Among the attendees were Tomasz Szulc, councilman of the Rydzyna municipality; Tomasz Rozkocha from Cooperative Green Energy, a company specializing in establishing energy cooperatives; and Marcin Szerszeń from the Wielkopolska Chamber of Agriculture. Representing SEPV were Andrzej Węgrzyn and Artur Sierzputowski, board advisors, and Jakub Ignaczak, Project Support Manager.

The discussions covered key topics related to the development of energy communities, distributed energy systems, and the climate challenges affecting agriculture in the area. Participants explored the potential benefits of expanding renewable energy sources (RES) within the Rydzyna municipality and Leszno County, as well as the support that the Deputy Marshal and his team could provide for these initiatives.

Strategic issues were also addressed, including energy challenges, the need to enhance the region’s energy self-sufficiency, and the advantages of green energy development for both local communities and businesses.

SEPV’s presence at such events underscores its commitment to creating innovative energy solutions that promote regional development and meet the needs of local communities. Collaboration with local governments, agricultural organizations, and businesses remains essential to achieving sustainable development in the Wielkopolska region.
